Inside the world’s wildest new mini golf course with caves, 13ft waterfalls… and sharks

New 36-hole attraction in Orlando will send players over huge waterfalls, through a cave and past sharks and stingrays

A mini golf course featuring waterfalls, caves and live sharks is set to open in Orlando this December in what its creators claim will be their most elaborate attraction yet.

The new PopStroke venue on International Drive will contain two 18-hole courses built around a river system, with players crossing pedestrian bridges and putting alongside waterfalls reaching 13ft high.

One of the courses rises in elevation as players progress, with holes built directly above the largest waterfall, while smaller cascades feature throughout both courses.

At the centre of the attraction, players will enter a cave before putting beside a tank housing six sharks and stingrays.

The courses will also feature interactive scoreboards, hole-in-one cameras and app-based scoring, while misters, fans and shade trees are being installed to combat the Florida heat.

The two-storey development will include indoor and outdoor dining, a rooftop terrace overlooking the courses, a beer garden, children’s playground and five bars.

It is being built on International Drive beside the Orange County Convention Center in a city which welcomed a record 76.7 million visitors during 2025.

Greg Bartoli, the founder and chief executive of PopStroke, said: “International Drive is known for incredible entertainment, and we’re raising the bar by building the biggest, most impressive courses we’ve ever created.

“We’re bringing something that surprises guests around every corner, with features you simply wouldn’t expect to see on a mini golf course and won’t find anywhere else.

“From the moment you step onto the course, every turn will deliver a wow moment.”
