A £1.1bn theme park billed as the world’s first luxury attraction is preparing to open in Mexico, promising spectacular thrill rides, exclusive surroundings and a permanent Cirque du Soleil show – with visitor numbers deliberately restricted to prevent overcrowding
A £1.1bn theme park billed as the world’s first luxury attraction is set to open next month, offering adrenaline-fuelled rides, spectacular entertainment and limited crowds in a tropical Mexican resort.
The Beauty of Nature (BON) park, which opens on October 24 at the VidantaWorld resort in Vallarta–Nuevo Nayarit, promises to combine the thrills of a conventional theme park with luxury hospitality, restaurants and spacious surroundings.
Its developers plan to restrict nightly visitor numbers, giving guests more room to enjoy the attractions, entertainment and dining without the enormous crowds associated with traditional theme parks.
The resort will eventually boast more than 20 attractions and experiences spread across seven themed worlds inspired by Mexico’s jungles, landscapes, mythology and wildlife.
Five will welcome visitors when the park begins its phased opening next month, with the remaining areas and additional attractions being introduced gradually through December 2027.
Among the headline attractions is Floresta Drop, which will hoist thrill-seekers 40 metres above the treetops before sending them plunging towards the ground.

Another, The Rise of Soluma, will suspend passengers beneath a 372-metre track, reaching heights of 20 metres and speeds of up to 54km/h.
Families will also be able to experience Time Quest, while a spectacular nightly water, fountain and light show will take place at The Crater.
Visitors seeking something less hair-raising can enjoy restaurants, lounges and a permanent Cirque du Soleil production featuring more than 40 performers from over 20 countries.
The show, LUDÕ, which premiered in December 2025, combines acrobatics, visual storytelling and dining inside a purpose-built theatre.

Some of Europe’s biggest ride manufacturers have helped bring the ambitious project to life.
Dutch rollercoaster specialist Vekoma developed The Rise of Soluma, while Liechtenstein-based Intamin created Floresta Drop.
Germany’s Mack Rides and Zierer, Italy’s Zamperla, Bulgaria’s Walltopia and France’s Aerophile are also among the companies involved, alongside Taiwan’s Brogent.

Ivan Chávez, Executive Vice President of Grupo Vidanta, said: “We set out to create the world’s first luxury theme park and rethink what a theme park experience could be.
“BON brings together the excitement and imagination of a world-class theme park with the space, comfort, service and hospitality of a luxury destination. We want children, parents and grandparents to each find something extraordinary here — and to enjoy it together.”
