Terms of Entry

The following terms govern participation in the European Business Awards (“the Awards”). By submitting an entry or nomination, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Accuracy of Information

Entrants warrant that all information and supporting material supplied as part of an entry or nomination is accurate, up to date and capable of substantiation. The organisers reserve the right to request evidence or clarification to verify claims.

2. Eligibility

The Awards are open to corporates, institutions, partnerships, public bodies, growth companies, specialist operators and individuals operating in global markets. Entries may be submitted on behalf of organisations or individuals that meet these criteria. Political parties, lobby groups, state propaganda units and entities sanctioned under UK law are not eligible to enter. Entries submitted by or on behalf of ineligible entities may be withdrawn without notice. Eligibility determinations are made at the sole discretion of the organisers and are final.

3. Confidentiality & Data Handling

Information submitted as part of an entry will be treated in confidence and used solely for the purposes of administering, assessing and promoting the Awards. Contact details will be used for communications relating to the Awards cycle and ceremony. Data will not be sold or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes and will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

4. Assessment & Judging

Entries will be assessed by the senior editorial team with assistance from an independent judging panel using the criteria published for the relevant categories. Entrants acknowledge that judging is qualitative in nature and that final determinations are made at the sole discretion of the magazine.

5. Final Decisions

The decisions of the judging panel are final and not subject to appeal or correspondence. No feedback is guaranteed to entrants unless expressly stated.

6. Disqualification

The organisers reserve the right to disqualify entries that are incomplete, contain false or misleading information, breach eligibility criteria, or are associated with conduct likely to bring the Awards into disrepute.

7. Publication & Announcement

Finalists and winners may be publicly announced and published across print and digital channels associated with the Awards. By entering, entrants consent to the publication of their organisation’s name, category and Award outcome.

8. Use of Award Marque

Winners may use the official Award marque strictly in accordance with the usage guidelines provided. The marque may not be altered or used in a manner that misrepresents the Award outcome or implies sponsorship, endorsement or affiliation beyond the granting of the Award.

9. Withdrawal & Amendments

The organisers reserve the right to withdraw an Award or amend the Awards programme where necessary, including changes to categories, timelines or ceremony arrangements. Reasonable efforts will be made to inform affected entrants.

10. Ceremony Attendance

Attendance at the Awards Ceremony is encouraged but not a condition of entry. Costs associated with attendance (including travel and accommodation) are the responsibility of attendees unless otherwise stated.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales in relation to any dispute arising from or connected to the Awards.
