More space, unrivalled views, an upgraded specification and a wealth of lifestyle facilities – what’s not to love about life at South Quay Plaza
Award-winning developer Berkeley Homes has recently unveiled the Executive Collection at its landmark Foster + Partners-designed South Quay Plaza development, which is minutes from London’s Canary Wharf.
This exclusive release of six premium apartments has been created specifically in response to demand from clients who wanted extra space. Berkeley Homes took the decision to combine individual apartments to create larger homes with expanded floorplates and an upgraded specification including handcrafted materials and the latest integrated technology.
Located on the 58th and 59th floors of South Quay Plaza’s Valiant Tower, the apartments will provide spectacular panoramas of the London skyline, with multiple aspects and floor to ceiling glazing creating one of the most elevated views available from a private residence in London. The three-bedroom apartments boast expansive floorplates of 120 sqm to 155 sqm.
A lifestyle statement
Today’s discerning purchasers are looking for more than a just a new home – a balanced lifestyle is of equally high importance. That’s why residents of the development will automatically become members of The Quay Club, South Quay Plaza’s state-of-the-art residents-only amenities offering, with furnishings styled by DAPA Interiors. This includes a 20-metre pool overlooking the South Dock, state of the art gymnasium, sauna, spa and treatment room. The fitness facilities will be managed by Antidote, who focus on a wellness-centred, scientific approach, with a mix of in-person and virtual classes available to residents.
Additionally, the 56th floor of the building is home to a private dining room, the business lounge, screening room and the spectacular bar and terrace, making it one of the tallest residential bars in Europe with unparalleled views across the capital and beyond. The experience of the Quay Club will be heightened further by drinks providers Hiver Beers and Humble Grape. This will be the craft beer’s first partnership with a private residential development with two different beers available as a ‘self-pour’ option, while by-the-glass wine dispensers from Humble Grape will offer a rotating selection of wines with regular tasting events available for residents.
At ground level, there will be an exciting new retail and commercial space, while the 2.6 acres of public green space designed by HTA Architects will focus on holistic wellbeing for all. Expect to see gardens, seating, play areas and outdoor artwork, with an array of flowering plants designed to attract bees, birds and butterflies. The development will create a celebration of the waterfront and the space around the buildings will become an engaging space to be enjoyed by both residents and the public alike. Meanwhile, transport links are outstanding with South Quay Plaza DLR and Canary Wharf underground station both moments away.
Executive Collection apartments start from £2.135m, with completion set for 2021. Other homes within the development are also available, with prices starting from £945,000 for a one-bedroom property. The last available Valiant Tower penthouse, designed by Dara Huang of Design Haus Liberty, is priced at £2.875m.
