Gwyneth Paltrow has partnered with Westin Hotels & Resorts to front a free training video series aimed at helping travellers manage jet lag and other common sleep issues
The Shakespeare in Love actress appears in Sleep Training for Grown-Ups, a three-part series released in collaboration with goop, the wellness brand she founded in 2008. The videos are available now on goop’s Sleep Training Hub and feature advice from Paltrow and sleep scientist Dr Cheri Mah on how routines around bedtime, diet and movement can affect sleep quality.
Goop, originally launched as a lifestyle newsletter, has since grown into a high-profile wellness business with a reputation for celebrity-led content, luxury products and curated experiences. The brand is increasingly active in the travel space, with a recent collaboration at Baha Mar resort in the Bahamas offering a $1,500 weekend of goop-led activities, including TORCHD fitness classes by Isaac Boots and breathwork sessions with yoga coach Koya Webb.
In her latest project with Westin, Paltrow focuses on helping travellers manage common sleep issues — including jet lag, the ‘First Night Effect’, where people struggle to sleep properly in unfamiliar environments, and confusion around topics such as sleep debt, which refers to the cumulative effect of missed rest, and strategic napping, often misunderstood in terms of timing and effectiveness.
She said: “Of all the wellness topics that have captured my interest over the years, sleep has remained the most essential.
“Partnering with renowned sleep physician and research scientist Dr. Cheri Mah, alongside Westin—a brand deeply dedicated to the importance of a good night’s sleep—is an incredible opportunity to explore and share insights on a fundamental pillar of well-being.”
Westin said the video series supports its wider goal of improving sleep for travellers and builds on the recent relaunch of its next-generation Heavenly Bed.

The Sleep Training for Grown-Ups content is free to access and includes advice on optimal room temperature (between 60–67°F), sleep-friendly routines, and how to build better habits while travelling. A wider content hub includes additional articles and tips on subjects such as sound therapy, sleep scores and overnight flights.
The collaboration also includes a dedicated “Sleep Shop”, where customers can purchase Westin’s new bed alongside a selection of goop-approved wellness, fashion and home products. Pricing varies.
