Your next holiday might already be written in the stars — and Marriott thinks it knows where
The hotel group has launched a new travel guide that matches guests’ astrological signs with luxury Caribbean destinations, tapping into the growing appetite for personalised, experience-led escapes.
The campaign pairs each of the twelve signs with a resort in Marriott’s high-end portfolio, linking personality traits to specific locations across the region. According to the company, the approach “ensures an unforgettable, bespoke escape for every guest” by aligning “the inherent qualities of each astrological sign with the distinct ambiance and offerings of some of the Caribbean’s most sought-after resorts.”
Aries, for instance, is sent to The Ocean Club, a Luxury Collection Resort, Costa Norte in the Dominican Republic, described as offering “an exhilarating experience with pristine beaches and world-renowned water sports such as surfing and kiteboarding—an ideal pairing for the fiery spirit of Aries.” Taurus is matched with The St. Regis Bermuda Resort, “surrounded by breathtaking azure waters and enveloped in a serene atmosphere,” while Gemini is directed to Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Puerto Rico, home to a lively social scene and a stargazing programme called Wonders of the Night.
Each property is positioned as a reflection of its sign — from The Ritz-Carlton, Turks & Caicos for emotionally attuned Cancers, to The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman for indulgent Leos and the soon-to-open St. Regis Cap Cana for meticulous Virgos. Marriott says the latter will offer “a unique blend of avant-garde design, curated dining, and thoughtfully tailored amenities,” with the brand’s butler service “elevating the experience.”
Libras are sent to the upcoming St. Regis Aruba Resort for spa treatments using native Aruban aloe, Scorpios to Salterra, a Luxury Collection Resort in South Caicos for solitude and cultural immersion, and Sagittarians to The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas where the 30-acre estate can be reimagined as a private event space.
Capricorns are offered a blend of business and leisure at the JW Marriott Hotel Santo Domingo, while Aquarians head to W Punta Cana, All-Inclusive, Adults Only — billed as “a sanctuary where individuality and adventure flourish.”
The final entry is Pisces, paired with Almare, a Luxury Collection Resort, Isla Mujeres — “a tranquil haven where the calm Mexican Caribbean waters meet the soothing rhythm of nature.”
“As personalised travel experiences continue to captivate savvy travellers, Zodiac-inspired destinations are gaining momentum in the luxury travel world,” Marriott said.
The guide includes properties under the Ritz-Carlton, W Hotels, St. Regis, and Luxury Collection brands, and forms part of a wider effort to reposition Marriott’s premium Caribbean portfolio as experience-first — using identity and lifestyle as new entry points to high-end travel.
