Situated opposite Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof Train Station, The Corner Hotel is hugely popular choice among business and leisure travellers. The hotel is in a perfect position just a few minutes’ walk to Messe Frankfurt – one of the biggest and most important exhibition centres in Europe. The hotel provides easy access to key banking and business addresses, not to mention shopping, cultural and tourist attractions. In its unbeatable central location, The Corner Hotel has everything a traveller needs from a three-star superior hotel.
The 50 guest rooms range from superior, to comfort and economy accommodation. Air-conditioning, soundproof windows, minibar, telephone, flat-screen TV, radio, electronic safe, tea and coffee-making appliances and a hair dryer are all standard in every room. Ironing boards, bathrobes and other items are available on request. The TV carries German and international channels; superior rooms also include Sky channels. Of course, wi-fi is available for free throughout the hotel. Guests can also enjoy a generous breakfast buffet in the adjacent partner hotel.
Within the hotel itself, there are two Japanese restaurants offering sushi and Izakaya dishes. International cuisine is plentiful around the hotel and in and around the station, including Italian; Thai and Turkish restaurants, plus pubs and coffee shops. Staff at The Corner Hotel are always on hand for recommendations. Just a ten-minute walk or two stops on public transport, shoppers will find themselves in city centre’s retail paradise. Alternatively, the new Skyline Plaza shopping centre is just around the corner and offers a large food court offering global cuisine.
Culture on your doorstep
Ten minutes away by foot is the beautifully restored Alte Oper, Frankfurt’s main concert hall. Meanwhile, rock and pop concerts take place at the Rotunda Hall in the Messe Frankfurt grounds.
Frankfurt is compact and easily explored on foot. Museums of every kind line the nearby Main River, or there is the restored historic city centre, the Rômer city hall, shopping and dining. In fact, there is so much to see, that if you do come for business, you’ll be back for leisure!
