Emma Strandberg
Travel and Culture
Emma Strandberg is an acclaimed travel writer and photographer whose work captures the grit, solitude and wild beauty of off-the-map destinations. Based on Sweden’s remote west coast, she has travelled solo through some of the world’s most unforgiving environments – from the Amazon to Alexandria, Burma to Brunei, and Greenland to Zimbabwe – shaping a literary voice described by The Sun as “a triumph of travel writing” and by the Daily Express as “authentic” and “gripping”.
Emma contributes to The European on themes of travel, resilience and cultural immersion. When not writing, she divides her time between building projects, wilderness fishing, and sustainable living – including growing her own food and preparing game from Sweden’s boreal forests.
