Marco Ryan is a Non-Executive Director, author and former Chief Digital Officer at BP with more than 30 years of experience in digital transformation and board-level leadership. He has held senior roles at BP, Wärtsilä and Thomas Cook, advising organisations on AI strategy, cybersecurity and ethical technology governance.
The co-author of Rewire or Retire: AI for Leaders, Marco is also Cyber Leader in Residence at Lancaster University Management School. For The European, he writes on the challenges of digital leadership, the ethics of emerging technology and how businesses can adapt to an AI-driven world.
